A Warm Miami Touch Of Platinum DanceSport

You know that feeling when your skin is so dry, you have to scratch it all the time. Well, that stops for the remainder of this competition.

And there are a few reasons it stops:1602157_642677515799929_371948869_o

First, moist Miami air is going to smoothen your skin. The beginning of February in Miami is not superbly hot, like it is in the summer time. So, the sun is warm, rather than burning.

Secondly, you will be dancing a lot! And here is why:
The competition started with a few Heats in Pro-Am Categories accompanied by a beautiful reception, and into the Evening Gala to Benefit the Alzheimer’s Organization. 8 Top North American Couples performed a joined routine choreographed by well known dancer, coach and choreographer Taliat Tarsinov. Every couple participating in the joined routine, also performed 2 individual solo routines , allowing the spectators to see and feel each couple’s individuality and personality.

Friday all day was dedicated to all Pro Am Rhythm and Standard divisions and categories. Lots of competing couples, and lots of beautiful looking gowns. The evening finished with Pro Am Showdance Events, Amateur Rhythm & Standard, and Open Professional Events. It was nice to see Professional American Style Smooth Category with a full Semi-Final. But, a complete opposition on behalf of International Latin with just 1 couple.

Saturday morning and afternoon were preoccupied by single and multi dances of Pro Am Smooth and Latin categories, along with the Pro Am Scholarship events towards the evening. The last session of the 2014 Platinum DanceSport Classic event

started out with a Semi-Final round of Professional American Smooth, accompanied by a healthy Final of Professional International Standard. And the cherry on top of the cake, was the breathtaking show by Maurizio Vescovo & Andra Vaidilaite.

Full #DCR Episode on 2014 Platinum DanceSport Classic is coming soon, but that “cherry” on top of the cake we talked about earlier… Here is a little piece of it!
